CORONAVIRUS ADVICE FROM PUBLIC HEALTH ENGLAND:

IF YOU SUSPECT YOU HAVE CORONOVIRUS DO NOT COME TO THE PRACTICE - TELEPHONE 111 FOR FURTHER ADVICE

  1. all travellers who develop relevant symptoms, however mild, within 14 days of returning from an affected country, should self-isolate at home immediately and call NHS 111.
  2. all travellers from Wuhan and Hubei Province should self-isolate for 14 days, even if they do not have symptoms, due to the increased risk from that area.
  3. if you have any reason to believe you have been exposed to the coronavirus please self-isolate at home and call 111.
  4. The symptoms of coronavirus are:

    • a cough
    • a high temperature
    • shortness of breath

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Registered patients of Lambeth Walk Group Practice can access extended opening times at four specially selected GP Access Hubs in the borough.

Our GP Access Hubs offer appointments seven days a week at the following times:   12pm–8pm Monday to Friday   8am-8pm Weekends and bank holidays   To book an appointment, simply call us as usual. Who is a carer?  

Anyone who cares unpaid, for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, mental ill health or addiction cannot cope without their support.  

What do we offer?

We offer advice, information, emotional support, signposting, peer support groups and events. We have a specialist team for adult carers, older carers and young carers (anyone with a caring role who is under 18) and a specialist worker for carers of someone with a mental illness.

Who are our partners?

Carers Hub Lambeth is managed by Help for Carers and works in partnership with Lambeth Mencap, putting carers at the heart of everything we do. 

Carers Hub Lambeth is one of four local organisations who make up the Independent Living and Carers' Partnership in Lambeth. These organisations are Help for CarersLambeth Mencap, Age UK Lambeth and Disability Advice Service Lambeth.
